OK. So 'Bruised And Battered' might be a tad over dramatic for the title of Day 8 of The 100 Day Project but I do have a very sore foot caused by it. One toe joint is almost completely black to the base and the area below all my toes is black down a couple of inches.
I took a photograph but decided that you probably don't want to be staring at such grossness on an otherwise pleasant Sunday, so here's a fun picture of Shawn the Sheep instead. (He was part of a local public art trail last year). 😂
As you know, most of my creating takes place in the attic. What you don't know is that to access said attic I need to climb a metal ladder. Going up and down it several times a day (think tea and loo breaks), has taken it's toll and resulted in bad bruising on my right foot. No idea why it's just the right one.
You'll be pleased to hear I'm now taking more care as to how I place my feet on the rungs and wearing trainers which have a firmer sole than the slipper boots I was wearing previously.
This was most definitely an unexpected result of the 100 days project.
So let's get back to creating . . . I didn't have much time to spend on it today so I kept it simple did a repeat of yesterday - I added some paint I was hoping to get used up onto the A3 ex life drawing sheets. And, just like yesterday I failed to use all the paint. Clearly, paint goes further than I think does. 😂
This time it was some neon pink that was in a sauce bottle with a long nozzle. I'd used it in the past for some flow painting but it's gotten a bit thick over time so I added a bit of water to it and then painted some pink areas.
I'n curious to see where these sheets end up. I'm thinking some maybe made into wrapping paper and others may be cut up and worked on for collage. But, as always . . . we will have to wait and see.
