I don't know why I just arrived at May's Organic Garden and Restaurant. After all, I like to look for beautiful sights, especially those that are unique and bring peace. But this past week, I had the opportunity to visit a place that isn't just organic food: it's also a spot full of beauty. (enjoyed some greens here) My cousins are with me on this trip. It's funny because even though they're from Silay, it's their first time here. They admitted that they don't really like to find new destinations, especially if they are a little far away. But when we got to May's Organic Garden, they wondered why they hadn't discovered it before.

As soon as we entered May's Organic Garden, I immediately felt the presence of nature. The surroundings are full of green plants, big trees, and gardening pets. The cleanliness of the whole place and every corner seems to be made for lovers of aesthetic photos. Every view here is Instagrammable! Everywhere you look, there's a beautiful backdrop for a photo, perfect for those who love pictorials or those who just want to relax while taking in the scenery. It's as if you were taken away from the noise of the city and transported to a peaceful paradise where you can only hear the chirping of birds and the soft but calming sound of the wind on the leaves.

Since we were hungry after the travel, we went straight to their restaurant. One of the things May's Organic Garden prides itself on is their organic food, and they're not kidding. The food here is fresh, clean, and very tasty. One of the things we enjoyed was their organic vegetable dish. You can really feel the naturalness of each ingredient, from the vegetables to the other things they serve. But my favorite of all? Their organic coffee. I don't like very strong coffee, but their coffee is just right, it has a natural sweetness and aroma that you can't taste in commercial coffee. You know it's not just instant coffee they put in your glass, but a cup of the hard work and harvest of local farmers. Besides food, they also sell various organic products from the farmers they support. They have organic coffee, piaya, coco sugar, and muscovado sugar. There are also insect repellants and hand sanitizers made from natural ingredients. It's great to think that while you're enjoying their products, you're also helping local farmers. (support local indeed)

Besides food, there are other things to do here. One of them is swimming in their swimming pool and waterpark pool. For those who want to relax in the water, the entrance fee of P100 for the regular pool and P200 if you want to try the waterpark pool is well worth it. Their swimming pool is clean. It's great for families, especially kids who want to play and enjoy the water. Honestly, it's a shame I didn't bring extra clothes for swimming. But if there is a next time, I will definitely bring my swimsuit!

As we walked around the place, I also noticed that May's Organic Garden is also a good venue for special events such as weddings, debuts, and other pictorials. The surroundings are so beautiful, you don't need to add any decoration. The natural ambiance of the place is perfect for an elegant wedding or a memorable photoshoot.

Imagine getting married in a place surrounded by plants and trees, while the heat of the sun gives natural lighting to every photo. It's like a movie scene! It's no wonder why there are some wedding photoshoots happening here, romantic!

I admit, May's Organic Garden is a bit far from Silay City, but it's well worth the trip. It's not just a restaurant, but an entire experience. The entrance fee of P100 is well worth it for the beauty of the place and the service we received from the kind and accommodating staff.

Another good thing about May's Organic Garden is that it was not very crowded when we went, so we felt more peace and relaxation. No traffic noise, no stress of city life; only nature, fresh air, and good vibes.

I'm sure I'll be back to explore more of all they have to offer. Next time, I'll bring extra clothes to make the most of the pool!
