Google esta semana me recordó estas fotografías y en vista a que la memoria de mi cuenta está a punto de colapsar, decidí despejarla un poco vaciando algunas imágenes y mientras las revisaba me encontré con estas y dije "Ah!, era una bolita de pelos" de ahí el título de este post.

A veces pensamos que ha pasado muchísimo tiempo, por la velocidad en que crecen nuestras mascotas, pero la realidad es que desde estas fotos a el día de hoy han pasado menos de 2 años y ¡yo no puedo creerlo!
Recuerdo cuando mi hermano trajo a Poly con nosotros, literalmente era esta "Bolita de pelos" que entraba en un cojincito pequeño que tengo en mi cuarto, no sabíamos cómo sería de grande porque es de una raza mestiza, ni siquiera sabíamos si mantendría el color.
Poco a poco Poly fue desarrollando sus facciones, pero cada día parece que cambiara más y más, hoy en día tiene un pelaje dorado, algo largo, liso y brilloso, sin embargo tiene algunas porciones de su cuerpo que son blancas, como la cola o su abdomen.

I remember when my brother brought Poly with us, he was literally this "little ball of fur" that fit in a small cushion that I have in my room, we didn't know how big he would be because he is a mixed breed, we didn't even know if he would keep his color.

He estado pensando últimamente si cortarle el pelo, estuve viendo unos videos de YouTube donde les recortan el pelo de las patas, detrás de las orejas, debajo de sus huellitas en los pies, y un poco en su pancita, a mí me gusta como se ve así peludita, pero la realidad es que está haciendo mucho calor y se le hacen algunos nudos sobre todo detrás de las orejas.
Hace 1 semana se sacudía mucho las orejas, pensamos que tenía algo dentro y la revisé pero no encontré nada, sin embargo hacía un tiempo tenía unos pequeños nudos y pensamos que tal vez podría ser eso, se los corté y dejó de sacudirse, fue entonces cuando entendí que tenía que cortarle el pelo quiera o no.

Poly es una perrita que desde que la adoptamos a los 3 meses de edad solo durmió como 2 meses fuera de las habitaciones en una cajita en la sala de la casa, pero en la medida en que fue creciendo se acostumbró a dormir en mi cama o en un sofá en el cuarto de mi mamá, ambas habitaciones con aire acondicionado, de hecho la arropamos con sábanas todo, así que no creo que sea justo con ella.

Poly is a dog that since we adopted her when she was 3 months old she only slept about 2 months out of the rooms in a box in the living room of the house, but as she grew up she got used to sleep in my bed or on a couch in my mom's room, both rooms with air conditioning, in fact we tucked her in with sheets everything, so I do not think it is fair to her.
Hace poco leía un meme en internet que decía algo así como "se viene la generación de perritos que no saben cuidar casas, solo dormir, ser cute y comer pollito", pues, bueno, yo creo que Poly es de esa generación, aunque ella es bastante territorial por lo que si cuida mucho la casa cuando está afuera de las habitaciones y estando adentro, si escucha algún sonido raro, está siempre alerta.
Pero no podemos decir que sea una perrita que tenemos únicamente para cuidar la casa, porque ella es como una bebé peludita, que cada vez que puede pide cariño, en verdad jamás entenderé esas personas que tienen perros fuera de las casas exclusivamente para cuidarlas, nosotros jamás hemos podido educar a un perro así, para nosotros siempre es un integrante más de la familia, duerme y está con nosotros siempre dentro.
El asunto es que estas fotografías me recordó la "Bolita de pelos" que era Poly cuando llegó a la casa estando minimizada, aún sigue siendo pequeña, porque es una raza salchicha jaja, pero ahora esa bolita de pelos se ha vuelto un poco más larga con un pelaje un poco más peinadito, sin embargo creo que llegó el momento de recortar un poco ese pelaje, después les traigo fotos cuando le haga su corte de cabello, por ahora ¡Gracias por pasar y leerme!

But we can not say that she is a dog that we have only to take care of the house, because she is like a furry baby, that every time she can she asks for affection, I will never really understand those people who have dogs outside the house exclusively to take care of them, we have never been able to educate a dog like that, for us she is always a member of the family, she sleeps and is always with us inside.
