Hello lovely people~~ I've Ben making a bit of progress on my art block lately and I do think I can render a little better again than I did a few days ago so I think my motivation and dopamine have more or less regulated again.
So this week, I tried the void dragon and I was supposed to do another dragon but I really wanted to see if I can work with faces again. Just a tes run so I went with something that wasn't so defined like the Astral entity card. And I do think this one came out really nicely.

I didn't really try to linger on this one so much. And although the app says I only drew this for 2 hours, it actually felt like I was working on it for a good 4 or so hours though I really made use of the software effect here so I can understand that those do speed up my drawing process so much XD
But if you look at my progression shots:
From the start to maybe until some point mid drawing I ended up using so much of the blurring effects on the app that most of the process looked this blotchy before I smoothened them out with he blurs XD
As you can see here after the blur. Then from this point on, I mostly used the color blend brush because I wanted it to really have that smoothness
Then her eis more detailing up and I wasn't really sure where I was going with this but I just kept going with the rendering.
Then I played with the sparkle effect brushes and I really like them XD I feel like I could make really good glow art with them.
After more and more details XD and maybe forgotten progression shots later, I finished my Astral lady ^W^
And that is about it from me for tonight. I only got to work on this in between all the waiting time I had where I wasn't finalizing lab reports. As much as mining season isn't all that heavy this year. I do have to admit that finalizing reports will probably never get easy for me. But for now, I got to finish something UwU and I will see you guys tomorrow because I think I'll sleep early tonight
