Hello dear hivers! I hope you're doing well and that you had an amazing and exciting weekend. Mine was truly eventful as it was really a blast and that is why I’m thrilled to share the details of my weekend experience with you all.
¡Hola queridos hivers! Espero que estés bien y que hayas tenido un fin de semana increíble y emocionante. El mío fue realmente lleno de acontecimientos, fue realmente genial y es por eso que estoy encantado de compartir los detalles de mi experiencia de fin de semana con todos ustedes.
The outing was actually an unplanned but an impromptu occurrence as i woke up on Saturday with nothing planned for the day except for the usual Saturday chores of washing and cleaning that I’ve been accustomed to, which i was carrying out half-heartedly, until i got a phone call from a close friend and neighbor of mine asking me what i was doing for the weekend. Despite countless excuses to avert the idea of leaving my house and with an overwhelming amount of pressure from her, we finally decided to venture out at noon.
En realidad, la salida no fue planificada sino improvisada, ya que me desperté el sábado sin nada planeado para el día excepto las tareas habituales de los sábados de lavar y limpiar a las que estaba acostumbrada, las cuales estaba llevando a cabo a medias, hasta que Recibí una llamada telefónica de un amigo cercano y vecino mío preguntándome qué iba a hacer el fin de semana. A pesar de innumerables excusas para evitar la idea de salir de mi casa y con una presión abrumadora por parte de ella, finalmente decidimos aventurarnos a salir al mediodía.
First place we went to was the train station,(I have never entered a train before in my life), and it was an embarrassing yet thrilling experience for me. Embarrassing because when the train started moving, i jumped from my seat in panic and held unto a pole thinking we’d fall or something, which in doing so earned me an unforgettable five minutes of laughter and teasing from the rest of the passengers. It was a moment i would not soon forget.
El primer lugar al que fuimos fue la estación de tren (nunca antes en mi vida había subido a un tren), y fue una experiencia vergonzosa pero emocionante para mí. Vergonzoso porque cuando el tren empezó a moverse, salté de mi asiento presa del pánico y me agarré a un poste pensando que nos caeríamos o algo así, lo que me valió cinco minutos inolvidables de risas y burlas por parte del resto de los pasajeros. Fue un momento que no olvidaría pronto.
Anyway, we disembarked from the train and while we were still in the station, we saw a group of kids wearing matching outfits, running around, playing and clearly enjoying themselves. For some reason, we went over to them and started playing and chatting with them for some time. In that moment, my friend suggested that we should dance with them to any song at all, well considering that’s my forte, i responded, “Why not?”. So we ended up filming a dance video and it was really incredible as i even forgot i was in a public space,(which i dislike),dancing, vibing and shouting with kids.
De todos modos, bajamos del tren y estando todavía en la estación, vimos a un grupo de niños vestidos con trajes a juego, corriendo, jugando y claramente divirtiéndose. Por alguna razón, nos acercamos a ellos y comenzamos a jugar y charlar con ellos durante un tiempo. En ese momento, mi amigo sugirió que deberíamos bailar con ellos cualquier canción, bueno, considerando que ese es mi fuerte, le respondí: “¿Por qué no?”. Así que terminamos filmando un video de baile y fue realmente increíble, ya que incluso olvidé que estaba en un espacio público (lo cual no me gusta), bailando, vibrando y gritando con niños.

So moving on from there, we headed for an ocean nearby, where my friend suggested we should take a boat ride,(I’ve never been inside a boat! Or even been so close water). I became so reluctant as there have been countless cases and instances where people fall off from boats and i thought no way in the world am i going to be on that list. However after much convincing and incessant teasing from my friend, i collected the life jacket and hopped on the boat. The ride was going smoothly at first until the boat driver who saw how scared i was before boarding the boat, pranked me by screaming that the boat was about to sink. Ladies and gentlemen, at that moment i realized that someone will live the rest of his life knowing fully well that i will forever hold resentment towards him.
Entonces, a partir de allí, nos dirigimos a un océano cercano, donde mi amigo sugirió que tomáramos un paseo en bote (¡nunca había estado dentro de un bote! Ni siquiera había estado tan cerca del agua). Me volví muy reacio porque ha habido innumerables casos e instancias en las que la gente se cae de los barcos y pensé que de ninguna manera estaría en esa lista. Sin embargo, después de muchas burlas convincentes e incesantes por parte de mi amigo, recogí el chaleco salvavidas y me subí al barco. El viaje transcurrió sin problemas al principio hasta que el conductor del barco, que vio lo asustado que estaba antes de subir al barco, me hizo una broma gritando que el barco estaba a punto de hundirse. Damas y caballeros, en ese momento me di cuenta de que alguien vivirá el resto de su vida sabiendo muy bien que siempre le guardaré resentimiento.

Anyway, despite the dramatic events at the ocean, the weekend was a blast and it was an adventure i would never forget, even if i wished to erase the boat prank from my mind. I hope to have more weekends like it again, filled with fun and new experiences, except of course I’ll be steering clear of boats.
De todos modos, a pesar de los dramáticos acontecimientos en el océano, el fin de semana fue fantástico y fue una aventura que nunca olvidaría, incluso si quisiera borrar de mi mente la broma del barco. Espero volver a tener más fines de semana como este, llenos de diversión y nuevas experiencias, excepto, por supuesto, que estaré alejado de los barcos.
