It was a Sunday, back from Mass, and wanting to just relax, then the call came in for a drive to Kaikoura to deliver work items to the team down there.
I have never been to Kaikoura, so I was keen on the drive and to help the team on the urgent job.
I drove down hurriedly, knowing I had to drive back to Christchurch same day.
It was a 191km drive one way, I ended up returning home to Christchurch around past 8 pm.
Kaikoura is a beautiful town. I am hopeful to be there again when I don't have to rush in and out of the town....
