Physical activities with school children.

    Hello community.

    Hope we're all doing great. It's actually my first time here. Going through the community I have seen a lot of inspiring and interesting write ups.

    Today I went to school to have a nice time with my children since it's still not resumption yet but we do have holiday lessons to engage the children with academic activities during holidays so today before the lessons we had short sessions of physical activities ranging from physical exercises, running, skipping, dancing, cycling and sports like Basketball, Table tennis and so on. It was really a good time both for the children and also the teachers.

    It was really fun and they were so excited to have that session. Alot of them complained of pains because it's been a long time they engaged in physical activities and some of them attested to the fact that the short time of physical activity has helped reduce feelings of stress, and anxiety and these helps in promoting better mental well-being.

    Frequent engaging in physical activities especially physical exercises from a young age instills lifelong habits of exercise and fitness, maintains a healthy weight, builds strong bones and muscles, and develops good cardiovascular fitness. It reduces the risk of obesity, and heart disease. Children are more likely to continue being active into adulthood. Physical activities are fun and enjoyable for children. Whether it's playing with friends, exploring the outdoors, or trying new sports, being physically active brings joy and excitement into their lives. Children should be encouraged to participate in a variety of physical activities from an early age which lays the foundation for a lifetime of health, happiness, and overall well-being.
