In the video above, I did a cover of Deeper Experience chant by Ester Ojiri and keastrings my favorite haha 😆. The first time I came across this song, seeing his name was what stirred me to check the song, but anyways I also love Ester Ojiri's songs, it's always powerful and inspiring.
One thing I've known about chants is that it's not just melody, it's a combo of melody and words inspired by a spirit of which in this case it's the spirit of God, chants are made to stire up possibilities to which the spirit possess. In this case, the song chant was titled deeper experience chant which means, it's a call to experience God in a deeper dimension. More so it's also a chant that incinerates closer communion and fellowship with God, and of a truth, sometimes we're so carried away by activities that we might not see how distanced we are from God.
In summary, it's a chant that brings to our awareness the call to be intimate with God, to draw closer to him coz there are things we'd never know unless we draw close to God.
