Hi my fellow Hivians How are You..
Today I want to share with you all how I am spending My precious family time with my world - My husband and 2 kids.
I am a mother of 2 beautiful kids, one is a teenager and another is a toddler.. rare combination ha.. 😀😀
Being a working mother, I am getting very little time to spend with my kids so am trying to make most out of that little time. I focus on quality instead on quantity in term of time I spend with my family.
So basically we spend our family time in evening when me and my husband back from work and my teenager son is free from his studies, tuitions etc. My toddler is just 2 years old now, so as of now she is always available for us 🤗🤗.
My family time starts with dinner as we prefer early dinner, we set a rule for our family that at least one meal in a day we all will have together and mostly this is dinner time when we all are available at home so we are having our dinner together.
After having dinner, we are going for a small walk outside, nearby our locality. While walking, me, my husband and my teenager are discussing about our day with each other and my toddler, as usual running here and there to attract our attention. While discussing about our day we are keeping an eyn on her and interacting with her so that she don't get board.
After walk we come back home and sit together in the hall area. Somedays we all sing our favorite song / poem together or we all sing and teach a new rhyme to my toddler. She enjoys our singing and tries to sing with us. Somedays we are playing few games and sometimes me or my husband telling stories or any interesting incident to kids. My toddler is still very young to understand all these but still we are trying to keep her engaged.
Basically our idea is to keep our both kids engaged with the interactive talks or activities otherwise they will get board and loose their interests to spend time together as family and start giving excuses.
Spending good quality family time is very essential for the strong bond with each other.
