I feel lucky to live in a tropical country. Although it is currently the dry season, sometimes the weather is unpredictable, that can rain at least once or twice a week. This allows you to find mushrooms anytime after it rains.
Here I share some mushroom collections that commonly occur in tropical rainforests. I found this accidentally while walking around for insect photo spots, so my walk wasn't specifically for mushrooms.
Most are black-footed Marasmius (Tetrapyrgos nigripes), with some adults and juveniles. They appear on damp litter, and maybe because they have been exposed to sunlight, some of the mushrooms look shriveled. There are collared parachutes (Marasmius rotula) in the same spot, but fewer than the first species. Let's see how they are!
