Ecology 2(the huge tree has fallen)

hello! My people!! Greetings to you in different part of the world!!! This is the early hours of the morning around 2:am. For those of ou sharing the same time with me, i hope am not interrupting your sleep.
On this happy note. I want to write more on ecology. This is because my note did not cover it entirely and this one would not because it is broad in scope and as important as our lives. This time, the mango tree in my compound is my case study.

I met this mango tree when got married to my husband 11years ago, as that time (2013) it was already a fully grown, matured, huge tree. https://share.icloud.com/photos/065Eltq7ZK-SK-hN4oxIC9EQw
the size and taste of the fruit is extraordinary snd capable of quenching huger. As a result, people find it difficult to identify the specie; some it is kerosene mango, others say it os Cameroon mango, whatever it is, i want to relate it to the topic at hand.

Remember, ecology explains what a plant or an animal grows and thrives in a given environment than the other, so it is with this tree. It was huge because the environment was favorable for it. It sheltered birds of different species. It served not only as a wind breaker but also as a sun shield. I never appreciated it's importance until the day it was cut down.
First, birds that usually wake me up migrated to another place because there was no more shelter for them (ecological niche) i sleep like a deer and became a habitual late comer (ecosystem) until it dawned on me to setup alarm.

Furthermore, before the fall of the tree, we never felt heat in our rooms because of the shield and the cool breeze it brings, but now our sitting room especially is always hot because the sun rays it shielded now goes directly to the wall. https://share.icloud.com/photos/0502p73HpnB6hTJx9RfxDq6-w .
Honestly, the value of ecology in our lives can never be overemphasized. What would life have been without plants bringing fresh oxygen to human and humans reciprocating plants with carbonIvoxide? (Balance in nature) all of us know that oxygen is expensive in hospitals. Did we not? Nature is indeed thrilling! Enjoy watching the rest of the pictures of the fall of the huge mango tree.
