A Night Spent with My Sister

    Hello, my dear Hivers!

It’s me again, itsmemic! And I’m back with another blog.

Today, I want to share a simple yet memorable night I spent with my sister.

    Heading Home Together

Earlier that day, we had agreed to go home together. She finished her classes early and waited for me since I had to close the office before leaving. Yes, I was still at the office because I was on duty, but I also took the time to train someone new who would be replacing me.

    Jollibee Stop and Girly Errands

We had already planned to stop by Jollibee in the afternoon after running some errands. We needed to buy some essentials—just the usual girly stuff like shampoo, hair moisturizers, and a few other things.

Since I was hungry, we still pushed through with our Jollibee stop, but my sister wasn’t really in the mood to eat. She had already had some milk tea and snacks earlier, so she just accompanied me. I kept asking her if she wanted to eat something, but she insisted that she was full and would only have some fries. So, I ordered fries along with my meal.

    Enjoying the Meal Together

When my order arrived, I was so happy to see that the chicken thigh was huge—just the way I like it! And the crispiness? Wow, it was perfectly crunchy and flavorful. As I was enjoying my meal, my sister couldn’t resist the delicious-looking chicken skin, so we ended up sharing my food.

    Unexpected Plans and Gaisano Shopping

After a while, my sister got a call from our dad, asking where we were. We told him we were still eating, and he informed us that they were already on their way to Bogo City to pick us up. We simply replied that we’d wait for them at Gaisano.

After finishing our food, we went inside Gaisano and bought everything we needed. However, when we stepped outside, there weren’t any available seats for us to wait and rest for a bit.

That’s when my sister suggested that we go to the nearby ukay-ukay (thrift store) beside Gaisano.

    A Funny Ukay-Ukay Moment

I immediately told her, "I don’t believe we’ll just sit there and wait—you’ll end up buying something for sure!" She was unsure at first, but we both laughed at how well I knew her. And guess what? I was right—she ended up buying a pair of shorts!

    Heading Home and Final Thoughts

After paying for the shorts, our mom arrived, and we finally headed home.

Though it was just a simple outing, it was special because I got to spend quality time with my sister. The little things—like laughing at each other’s habits, sharing food, and running errands together—made the night feel warm and memorable. It’s these small, everyday moments that strengthen our bond as siblings.

And That’s It, My Dear Hivers!

I hope you enjoyed reading about this simple but meaningful night. Sometimes, the best stories come from the most ordinary moments. Until my next blog—see you all soon!
