Hello #NatureObserver friends, here I want to share photos of plants that I rarely find where I live so I don't even know the name of this plant. With slightly thick and stiff leaves which are reddish green when young (leaf shoots) and when the leaves start to age they are green, and have flowers in clusters that are almost predominantly pink. The flowers of this plant when they bloom are shaped like five-pointed stars.
Because I didn't know the name of this plant, I finally used Google to find out the name of this type of plant. It turns out that this is the Lempeni plant which in scientific language is called Ardisia elliptica. I am interested in this plant because in my area it is difficult to find it. But not only are they rare, the flowers and fruit of this plant are quite unique so I was interested in finding out the name and properties of this plant.
According to the owner of the tree, the ripe Lempeni (Ardisia elliptica) fruit can be consumed and the leaves can treat stomach ailments. How do you know about the Lempeni plant (Ardisia elliptica). Thank you to those who can provide knowledge about this type of plant.
