I’ll admit it – I’m not the best at being on time for church. But hey, better late than never, right? 🤦♀️
Last Sunday was Praise Sunday at my church. I really wanted to be there, even with my late track record. Who doesn’t want to join in all the fun? 🎉
When I rushed in, the energy was amazing. The church was full of people excited to worship and celebrate. I found a seat and hoped I wouldn’t draw too much attention (yeah, right! 😂).
The service was fantastic! Our choir sang their hearts out, and the guest ministers were great too. The vibe in the room was awesome, and I got totally wrapped up in the music and the message.
But the best part was still to come. Just when I thought we were winding down, the pastor said, Now, it’s time for our special giveaway! The crowd went wild with cheers and clapping when he announced that they would give away airtime to some lucky winners.
Here’s the twist – it wasn’t just luck. The pastor said, We’re having a fast fingers game! He explained, The first person to load the airtime on their phone wins!
Everyone jumped into action. I grabbed my phone and started typing like crazy, my heart racing with excitement.
And then it happened. I saw the message pop up that I had loaded the airtime first! I couldn't believe it. I had won! 🎉
I was in shock, and the people around me were cheering and congratulating me. It felt unreal, and I couldn’t stop smiling.
Looking around at all the happy faces, I realized this Praise Sunday was about more than just worship. It was a celebration of community, joy, and those surprises life throws our way.
So next time you're late for church (like I was), remember: you might just find some great surprises waiting for you! 😊
*The lesson? Latecomers can win big, especially if they type fast! 😉But I won't advice you to go late ooo Go on time so u wíll see Gód
