Various Activities in Coastal Villages on Sundays

    Hi Pinmapple Travel friends 🍍

For me, Sundays won't feel special if I don't take a walk to beautiful places to refresh my mind. In this post I want to share the story of my trip last Sunday afternoon to one of the beautiful places in our city.

The place I visited in my travel edition today is called Kampung Pusong which is on the coast of Lhokseumawe City. This beautiful village is on the beach and the job of the local residents here is as fishermen.

Because today is Sunday, along the way I see lots of happy children bathing off the beach, for them the beach has become a home and a place to play everyday, they swim near the boats that are tied up on the beach. , these boats look beautiful because they are colorful.

The weather today was also very sunny with a very beautiful view of the blue sky and clouds, being here I felt like I was in heaven with the gentle beach breeze that kept blowing towards my body.

Not far from the children who were swimming earlier, now I see a classic shaped boat that has not been painted and has an original color like wood. This boat looks like it is being swayed by the sea waves and looks very aesthetic when photographed.

When I arrived at the end of Pusong Village, here I saw lots of children bathing off the beach very happily, they looked like they were having a lot of fun with sweet smiles etched on their faces.

What makes this village iconic is because there is a tradition of "Tarek Pukat" (pulling trawl nets) which is carried out by local fishermen as one of their ways of earning a living.

Here I saw 2 teams of fishermen pulling a trawl net. The fishermen here are also very friendly which makes me comfortable staying here for a long time.

While waiting for these fishermen to finish pulling their trwal nets, now I decided to look at the fishing boats which were neatly parked on the beach sand, using these boats the fishermen went out to sea to anchor their trwal nets which would later be pulled by the fishermen. already prepared on the beach as I saw above.

After almost 30 minutes of waiting, finally the trawl net has now been pulled with everyone, the tense moments now begin when the fishermen are about to open their catch of the day which is in the trawl net.

Today I saw a lot of fresh fish that they got, one of which was pomfret which is the most popular fish among people around here. After seeing the fishermen opening their trawl nets, I finally decided to go home because it was getting late, before going home I took a moment to buy Ice Gogo which was sold here, after I ate Ice Gogo then I continued home.

This is my exciting travel story today, see you in my next travel post.
