Hello Hive, I'm Bakre samsudeen Adekunle form ogun state, Nigeria. I'll love to give you guys an insight to my development and a brief background check which lead to my interest in writing.
I did my early school in a remote area more to say I grew up in a village setting but not too local or too advanced, well I got the best education all thanks to SOS Hermann Gmeiner primary school that offered the best and standard education syllabus for its students. Thanks to that my writing and reading skills grew quickly.
While in my primary school I developed so much interest in Mathematics and fine art, with multiple awards and gifts to show for it.
Fast forward to my secondary school days, I lost interest in mathematics and I picked interest in a whole new field which was literature. A fascinating field that made me bask in my own power of imagination, I literally fell in love with literature and my love for art grew more.
At my university level my field of study change from literature to politics which was a dramatic change, then I understood what it ment by "man plans, God disposes" then I went from art and literature to political science. While in school studying politics I drifted form my long time love literature to my new found love politics yet my basic writing skills played a major role in my academic development.
After I graduated from fedral University lokoja with my first degree in political science, I decided to join and manage my dad's business (haulage) which was a whole new experience when it come to interacting with people and managing different people with different politics and educational background.
Year's have gone past and am gradually going back into writing when my very good friend @fashtioluwa introduced me to Hive as a safe space for writer's that give the avenue to develop one's writing skills.
Have come to lean that doing what makes you happy is the only source to a fulfilled life. Reading, writing, drawing and gaming are the root of my happiness and I decided to invest my time and effort into them. I believe joining Hive is my first step to developing my skill and doing what I love alongside.
