INTRODUCTION
Going through this video this morning elevated my spirit. I receive joy in my heart that it is well with. It gives me comfort; it consoles my soul. I could see the travail of my children; I could feel their pain. I could experience the biting agony from the Nigerian economic crises. But this has spring joy in my heart that days of rejoicing are coming. Thank you, Bro Eli Soriano for coming my way with the message.
THE REJOICING OF THE WICKED IS SHORT-LIVED
In the wisdom of God, Bro Eli revealed that the rejoicing of the wicked is only for a moment. Living maybe seventy years or a hundred years in this evil invaded world and having all the comfort one could think of is nothing compared to the glory and joy we will share in the kingdom of God.
One could have all that money can buy. One could have all the wealth he can get from the world. But without Jesus in their lives, their sorrow shall know no bounds. No matter what victory the wicked gets. Let them always win. Let them always triumph. Let them always rejoice. The triumphing of the wicked is but for a moment.
THE REJOICING OF THE RIGHTEOUS IS ETERNAL
The victory we have as the righteous transcends this world. It is everlasting. The joy we shall experience shall be for evermore. If we suffer pains and afflictions now, it is only for a season. Tears can fill our hearts now, but eternal joy shall be our own. Some of us might suffer persecution from this cruel and wicked world. Many of us might be living in sorrow. We might be rejected and despised by men. There is hope! There is hope that God will comfort us with joy unspeakable. We shall share in the glory that shall not fade.
GOD'S JUSTICE IS JUST
God is a righteous Judge. He does no evil. We should not think it to be injustice when we see good people suffer and bad people prosper. God's judgment surpasses this present world. When we shall see God at the resurrection, then justice shall be served. The wicked have terrible ends. They may look to be enjoying themselves now, but their sorrow shall be great. The Bible says we should rejoice when we are being persecuted because great is our reward.
CONCLUSION
Let us take solace in the word of God. Let us put our trust in Him. Let us not consider the sorrowing of the wicked. There is a way that looks right before a man whose end is destruction. Those who have no fear of God in their lives are only heading to destruction. If God allows a good person to suffer, it is because He has something far better and rewarding for him.
