The Paratitahi tunnels emerge as you drive into Kaikoura, I approached with caution as I try to screen ahead of me, not ignoring the beauty around me which I have been struggling with when it comes to driving I NZ, I have to keep my eyes on the road.
If you ask me, I'd rather be a passenger in New Zealand than a driver so I can enjoy the views without worrying about collision or driving off the road.
The tunnels are beautiful. There are quite a number of them, maybe three or four, I can't recall now.
But driving through the Paratitahi tunnels was a scenic experience I enjoyed.
