Yesterday started with the printer going early to get more parts sheets made in the ever expanding rainbow of colors I have made them in so far. At 2 hours per set I try to get 2 sets of each color. These were done a bit before 9am.
While the prints were running I worked around the house on a number of chores. My clothes went to the wash then drier then put away as soon as dried. The house ends up a disaster after only a day or two so I worked around the living room trying to get it semi cleaned. It's truly a Sisyphus type situation and never can seem to get ahead.
I found the switch plate model so went ahead and gave it a try. I did it wrong. It needed support but I flipped it on it's face which lead to the shitty overhangs on the face.
So I did it right on the next one and added support underneath.
The support came off easily but the plate is not exactly deep enough for the switches in the house. It will work though.
I got the codes pulled from the sled and it is still the o2 sensors. Went looking on parts sites and the things are $80+ EACH! Fuck THAT! So I went to Amazon and found off brand ones for $18 each.... So I have 2 on the way and will be here tomorrow. I will get them replaced at some point soon. The timing chains will be here today.
Ran the rest of the weights to the studio with the old wifi router. I have to take my laptop down to set it up right today. Took the xbox and nes to the Tardis away from the destructive boys.
In the afternoon I took the sled up to the school to pickup J and C after their running club. I might give J my old Forerunner to use for these days so he can better see his distances run.
I got dinner ready in time and then got R to practice where he weighed in for the tournament this weekend. He was a whole pound heavier than last week.
Practice commenced at the normal time in preparation for the tournament.
Back home I got R's new skis and set the bindings up with his boots. Silly graphics but the sticks are in good condition.
NHL double header that started with Toronto beating Colorado.
Then the Kraken got completely embarrassed just like every one of their second games in a back to back. Pretty sure they have the worst back to back record in the league.
It was pathetic and they looked like our local AHL team could have beaten them easily.
Out to soak for a while then inside to see just how bad they were doing.
Blown out 4-0. Just sad. Not sure how they can change the back to back issues but they are going to have to figure something out as this is not sustainable if they want to be even remotely competitive.
Rained last night but stopped already this morning. The timing chains will be here this morning a bit later since the Fedex plane is a bit late. It's just passing Missoula now.
Today I will get the boys to school soon, work on the truck, work on the router, clean around house more, PDC is on mid day, I should get a burn pile going, and will figure out dinner this evening.
