How do I overcome peer pressure biblically? | The Old Path (My Review)
Bible readings: Ecclesiastes 12:1, Acts 20:21
Friends can be very influential in the life of a person. If one if not careful, he'll end up under the wrong influence. Nowadays, peer pressure is something that is very common among the youths. It is something that cannot be escaped especially when you meet up with people of different spheres of life with different characters.
You are likely to meet people who indulge in certain activities and they would try to convince you to get involved in what they are doing. Many people fall into these pressure for the purpose of feeling among. It is not actually worth it. The time of the youth is the time were we are exposed to all the pleasures of life, but most times they don't really add up much to our lives.
At this point in live as youth, who we need to follow is God and not our peers and their advices which are not helpful to us.
Ecclesiastes 12:1 - Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them
We have a limited time here on earth. Now us the best time to serve God; now that we have strength as youths, because there will be a time we won't have this strength and it would be much more difficult to serve God that time.
