Greetings dear readers, today I give life and love to my blog ❤️ with a refreshing anecdote, an event that I sought to give my soul a space of harmony and calm, confirming that for that nothing better than a cozy place with a good drink and appetizer.
Nothing better than giving the body what it asks for, and so it was that on Saturday June 22, 2024 like a hermit after a strenuous week full of demanding but satisfying commitments, I gave myself permission to go out and relax with the fortune of having received payment for a job, so motivated I decided to walk around and go in search of a garment I needed for an event in the coming days.
I really walked a lot among the bustling avenues, passing by several stores to find what I was looking for, in the end I did not find what I needed, thinking to visit other establishments for later. After walking for half a day, by mid-afternoon I felt exhausted and wanted to find a cozy and quiet place to have a refreshing drink, so I decided to enter a small mall located towards the center of the city of Caracas.
The truth is that I am not a regular in these places, at least I have something to look for there, when I entered the bustle was the same as in the street, and when I arrived at the food fair the noise was worse, such a situation made me uncomfortable, pushing me to withdraw from that environment, when I was leaving the mall, I saw the advertising of a small business called "Papá Golfeado Coffee shop", there my instinct was awakened wishing to visit that place.
When I saw it I thought it was just what I was looking for, the place was on the same level as the food fair, but in a less noisy area. There I started to review the digital menu, and when I saw that I had cold coffee I said to myself "I deserve it ", along with a snack, so I decided to order the house specialty "Golfeado", yes that rich and traditional soft rolled bread, sweetened with molasses and sweet anise, which this time I did not want it with the typical slice of cheese guayanes, which is worth noting makes it very special.
Taking a seat to wait for my order, I felt at peace away from so much noise, the minimalist decoration invited me to sit in comfortable armchairs, allowing me to fix my gaze on a panoramic window that showed me everything that was happening outside, and inside the place I could enjoy.
Ready! my order arrived at my table, the wait was no more than 5 minutes, and my delicious appetizer arrived "Ice coffee moka with a traditional "golfeado".
The first thing I did was to mobilize and taste my drink to which I give an 8 out of 10, because I thought it was slushy and it was not, the drink was delicious and cold but the ice cubes that were added then became a drink a little watery.
Once I examined the drink I tried the king of the house, the "Golfeado", which I give a 10 out of 10, because for my taste it was very well cooked, soft inside having its ideal point of paprika, and outside a little toasted because of the cheese, the funny thing is that I almost did not feel the sweet anise, which for my palate was great.
At the end of my drink I still had some "ice coffee moka" left, and despite how watery it was getting, I was tasting it little by little, it was really delicious, moving the straw touching the syrup at the bottom of the glass, I was distracted looking out the window, also enjoying the coziness and freshness of the place.
I really enjoyed myself in this place where I felt the delight and tranquility that I needed for the moment, I left satisfied and grateful to life for allowing me to have my income obtained by my effort and talent, with which I gave myself a gift, being for me these last weeks of June, time of recollection, self-love and prosperity.

Saludos apreciados lectores hoy doy vida y amor a mi blog ❤️ con una anécdota refrescante, acontecimiento que busque para darle a mi alma un espacio de armonía y sosiego, confirmando que para eso nada mejor que un lugar acogedor con una buena bebida y aperitivo.
Nada mejor que darle al cuerpo lo que pide, y fue así como el sábado 22 de junio 2024 cual ermitaña después de una extenuante semana llena de compromisos demandantes pero satisfactorios, me di el permiso de salir a despejarme con la fortuna de haber recibido el pago de un trabajo, con lo que motivada decidí pasear e ir en búsqueda de una prenda de vestir que necesitaba para un evento en próximos días.
Realmente caminé muchísimo entre las bulliciosas avenidas, pasando por varias tiendas para encontrar lo que buscaba, al final no dí con lo que necesitaba, pensando visitar otros establecimientos para después. Luego de haber caminado medio día, ya a mitad de tarde me sentí agotada con ganas de encontrar un sitio acogedor y tranquilo para tomarme algo refrescante, fue así como decidí entrar a un pequeño Mall ubicado hacia el centro de la ciudad de Caracas.
La verdad no soy asidua de estos lugares al menos tenga algo que buscar allí, al entrar el bullicio era igual al que había en la calle, y al llegar a la feria de comida el ruido era peor, tal situación me incomodo impulsándome a retirarme de ese ambiente, cuando voy de salida del centro comercial, divise la publicidad de un pequeño negocio llamado “Papá Golfeado Coffee shop”, allí mi instinto se despertó deseando visitar ese local.
Al verlo me pareció que era justo lo que buscaba, el local se encontraba en el mismo nivel feria de comida, pero en una zona menos comprometida de ruido. Allí empecé a revisar la carta digital, y cuando vi que tenía café frio me dije “me lo merezco”, junto algún aperitivo, por tanto, decidí pedir la especialidad de la casa “Golfeado”, sí ese rico y tradicional pan enrrollado suave, endulzado con melaza de papelón y anís dulce, que en esta oportunidad no lo quise con la típica rodaja de queso guayanes, que vale destacar lo hace muy especial.
Tomando asiento para esperar mi pedido, me sentí en paz lejos de tanto ruido, la decoración un poco minimalista me invitó a estacionarme en unas cómodas butacas, permitiéndome fijar la mirada hacia una ventana panorámica que me mostraba todo lo que afuera acontecía, y dentro del local podría disfrutar.
¡Listo! llego a mi mesa lo pedido, la espera no fue más de 5 minutos, llegando mi delicioso aperitivo “Ice coffee moka con un golfeado tradicional.”
Lo primero que hice fue movilizar y degustar mi bebida a la que le doy un 8 de 10, pues pensé era granizado y no fue así, la bebida si estaba deliciosa y fría pero los cubitos de hielo que le añadieron la convirtieron luego en una bebida un poco aguada.
Una vez examinada la bebida probé el rey de casa el “Golfeado”, al que le doy un 10 de 10, pues para mi gusto estaba muy bien cocido, suave por dentro teniendo su punto ideal de papelón, y por fuera un poco tostadito a causa del queso, lo curioso es que casi no sentí el anís dulce cosa que para mí paladar estuvo genial.
Al culminar mi golfeado aun me quedaba "ice coffee moka" que ha pesar de lo aguado que se staba poniendo me lo fui degustando poco a poco, ¡la verdad estaba delicioso!, movilizando el pitillo tocando el sirope del fondo del vaso me distraía mirando por el ventanal, disfrutando también lo acogedor y fresco del lugar.
Realmente me di un buen gusto en este local donde me sentí en el deleite y tranquilidad que para el momento necesitaba, salí satisfecha y agradecida a la vida por permitirme poder tener mis ingresos obtenidos por mi esfuerzo y talento, con lo que me di un regalito, siendo para mis estas últimas semanas de junio, tiempo de recogimiento, amor propio y bonanza.
