There are few players who impact the game more than T.J. Watt on the defensive side of the ball.
Through eight games to start the 2024 NFL season, Watt has 6.5 sacks, 14 quarterback hits, 10 tackles for loss and a league-leading four forced fumbles for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The three-time NFL sack leader is already getting some recognition for his stellar 2024 campaign.
On Thursday, Fox Sports announced Watt as its 2024 Midseason Defensive Player of the Year.

Watt, the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year in 2021, finished the Steelers' 2023 season with a league-leading 19.0 sacks. The 30-year-old pass rusher is now in the midst of yet another impressive campaign.
Watt and the Steelers are 6-2 to start the 2024 NFL season. The team is currently on a three-game win streak, including a 26-18 victory over the New York Giants in Week 8.
Coming off their Week 9 bye, the Steelers are set to face off against the red-hot Washington Commanders on Sunday afternoon. Watt will look to continue his elite quarterback pressure on rookie signal caller Jayden Daniels in Week 10.
Sunday's game will kickoff at 1 p.m. EST in the Commanders' Northwest Stadium.
