Hello shoppers of Spendhbd community, how did your weekend go? Well mine started off great with shopping at two big listed stores in Lagos which is @bokku-mart and @chiefomart store and I spent a total of 20.5 hbd at both stores.
Wanting to do more for the promotion of #spendhnd, I and my local guide @beauty197 discussed meeting in the afternoon and visiting listed stores so we can talk to their customers, get them onboard, help them shop and to get their discount.
MARKETING ACTIVITY
Today being Saturday is expected to a busy one especially in local markets and supermarkets, because it's during weekends especially Saturdays that most people have time to shop for the week. We had envisioned achieving a lot with marketing so we decided to do our first stop @shoegardaddy2 shoe shop where I met with my local guide.
Unfortunately the place wasn't busy as expected yet we decided to wait for few more minutes before trying another location. We visited the next listed store @smertschoice2 where frozen foods are sold. The place was also surprisingly empty with no customers, today didn't feel like Saturday from today's experience but I guess people are still trying to adjust into the new year and are being careful with their expenses.
We left there because we couldn't achieve what we wanted and went into the streets of Lagos to scout for stores to list and to educate people about #hive and #spendhbd project.
We visited the first pharmacy, it is the biggest in the area and we thought it would be a good way to help sick people get discounts so that they can get their drugs easily because drugs are really expensive now.
We met the manager of the branch and introduction the Spendhbd project to him, he liked the idea and directed to visit their head office so that we can speak directly with the director of the pharmacy. He told us to go there on Monday morning and we've made plans to ensure we don't miss visiting the head office. We are so enthusiastic and positive about what the outcome would be.
We left there and continued our search, found another big pharmacy and went in to discuss with the people there. We were told that their boss wasn't around and that we should come back tomorrow when she would be available.
We left there and continued our search for stores to list and customers to onboard. We decided to visit a newly listed store that is always busy because they deal on food items @tonyfoodstuff. We boarded a bike because we were tired from the long walk and took a ride to the location but to our shock, we met a closed store.
Apparently, @tonyfoodstuffs went for a burial program and didn't open for business. We had to tell the motorcyclist to take us back because we were already exhausted.
CONCLUSION
Spendhbd awareness is very important because a lot of people haven't heard the good news of cashback from purchases through #distriator app. I will not relent in telling people about the project so that they can benefit as well and I'm grateful to all the supporters who have helped this project get this far. Thanks @distriator, @hive, @ecency, @spendhbd, #3speak and others who have made this project worthwhile.
After a stressful day I decided to go home, have a nice bath, eat a sumptuous meal and would be sleeping soon after publishing this post.
