It was January 4th 2024 at exactly 11:43 pm ,Davido a popular Nigerian Artiste had just lost all his 3 grammy Nominations.
I was happy because I finally had the chance to tease his fans on social media and my sister was one of them .
I'm a huge fan of wizkid and if you are a Nigerian you will understand the banter that has been going on between wizkid and Davido fans. I meant no harm I only wanted to join the usual cruise , infact I love Davido and his songs and deep down I knew he really deserved at least a grammy award.
I journeyed on to Tiktok with my 22k followers account and posted numerous videos sneering Davido and his fans.I went as far as commenting negatively on every videos pertaining to Davido,I saw nothing wrong with what I was doing I mean it's social media you can do and say anything and get away with It .After spending hours on TikTok I decided to message and taunt my elder sister who is a die hard fan of Davido, it all started like a wisecrack not until I sensed the sudden annoyance in her response ,it dawn on me that I had crossed the limit.
She sent me one last message saying " I promised to pay for your JAMB registration but I won't be doing that anymore and make sure not to call my number"
I thought it was a joke but I realized it wasn't when I tried calling her and I discovered that I had been blocked on all her 3 numbers. I was devastated I didn't know where to start from she was literally the one feeding and paying my bills.As I sat in my room I couldn't help but shed tears,tears of regret.
One hour thirty nine minutes later I got a notification on TikTok that my 22k followers account has been banned.
Davido fans had reported and took down my hard work.
I lost both my TikTok account and my JAMB registration fee,i felt like my life had come to an end.
