Football and other sports bring people together, especially men, as many ladies do not really fancy sports, but the truth is that sports promote unity amongst us all. You see people from around the globe coming together and playing for the same team to achieve the same goal. When it comes to sports, our differences are kept aside, and that is the beauty of sports. Even the fans see each other as one; all they want is to see their team win; they don't see color; all they see is a fellow fan, and that is the major reason sports continue to thrive in our world today.

Despite our diversity and the different languages we speak, sports bring us all together. The joy sports bring to individuals is beyond imagination; the smiles it puts on our faces, words cannot express. The fun part is that there are good days and bad days in sports. There are days where your team makes you super proud and days where they disgrace you to the point where you are looking for ways to hide your face from rival team fans.
I don't know where and how the rivalry between Manchester United club fans and Chelsea football club fans started, but we are really not going to settle the rivalry because that is the fun of being a fan of any of these clubs. The banter that follows every loss from any of the clubs is really fun, and only a fan of any of the clubs can really relate.
Being a fan of a particular club and giving it all your support for ages is really not easy. Come rain or come shine, the club has your support, and even when they make it a habit to upset you and make you sad, you still choose them over every other club. That's the beauty of being a fan, a staunch fan, for that matter. Lately, the fans of my club have been going through a series of heartbreaks, either from losing a match they are expected to win or from ending up with a tie, causing slow growth on the league table and banter from other club fans.
As a Manchester United fan, I will say the last few matches of the club have not been impressive at all, but we continue to live on our past glories. Whenever other club fans try to banter us, we remind them of the trophies we have won in the past. Aside from that, there is nothing to show as the club continues to perform below average, and then we have Arsenal Football Club. Sometimes I pity and feel for every Arsenal fan out there. The last time they won the Premier League was in 2003, but it is heartbreaking to see them get so close to winning the Premier League and end up throwing it away.

They have been at the at the top of the table for a very long time, only to throw their lead away on Sunday by losing to Aston Villa. They did the same thing last season when they were so close to winning the league title. They just keep bottling the league and putting their fans in a situation to be bantered and preyed on; hopefully, before the season ends, they can correct their mistake and win the league title this season.
