In front of her window, the tall silhouette of the stranger stalked her.
His dark, menacing shadow almost brushed the glass, trying to reach her.
Petrified, she held her breath so as not to give herself away.
She begged for him to go away, for the night to end.
But he remained motionless, staring at her with his non-existent eyes.
Only at dawn, when the first rays of sunlight dawned, did the sinister figure vanish.
Released from her nightly horror, the girl would burst into tears, knowing that when the next night fell, the tall stranger would return to stalk her from the shadows.
