I saw her mixing up and molding some substance on a table, coming closer I greeted her "Mummy Mummy! How is work" she said ah! Paul is you! I smile at her. I dropped my school bag and started asking her questions about what she's doing, she said this is another way of making bread 🥪 in the local way. I was so overwhelmed seeing how is being made locally.

She started telling me about local bread baking the characteristics of Local Bread Baking. Regional Variations: that local bread recipes often reflect the available ingredients and traditional techniques of a specific area. This leads to a wide diversity of bread types, flavors, and textures.
Traditional Techniques: Many local bakeries and home bakers still use traditional methods, such as wood-fired ovens or long fermentation processes. These techniques contribute to the unique character of the bread. And this the exact method which I'm doing "Mummy"
Community Importance: Local bakeries often serve as important community hubs, providing fresh bread and a place for social interaction. Bread itself can have cultural and even ceremonial importance in some communities.

I asked mummy if I want to do this local breed baking what do I need, like the materials or ingredients... She said ok, she let put it this way,
Ingredient Sourcing: that local bread baking often emphasizes the use of locally sourced ingredients, which can enhance flavor and support the local economy. Paul "mummy" let me give some Examples of bread like the Agege Bread (Nigeria) that is a very popular, soft, and chewy bread found throughout Nigeria. It's a staple food and a great example of a widely loved local bread.

Wow I exclam!!! I have been hearing about the bread 🥪 before ooh she explained further about
Sourdough Bread: "While now globally popular, sourdough baking has strong local roots, with variations tied to regional microorganisms and flour types". After saying these things, that I need ingredients like flour, sugar, yeast, small amounts of water and some things I can't remember again.

In conclusion she was trying to explain about the factors influencing the local bread baking, that some
religious and cultural practices often influence bread-making techniques and recipes. And that local bread baking is a vital part of food culture, preserving traditions and providing delicious, unique breads. I stayed back until she's done with the work and I had tested of her hand made local sweet bread 🥪, I purchased two extra because of its freshness and eye catching color of milky on the bread. I can recommend that the bread is one of the best bread in the community.

Afterward she package some stuffs for me in a bag and handed it over to me, I know it is something delicious and goodies hahaha 🤣😂 "Mummy Mummy" I shouted thanks mummy. I will still come over for the local bread baking to learn proper.
