En una caminata reciete a lo largo de la ciudad, tuve la grata sorpresa de encontrarme con un pequeño evento de mini-barcos y mini-veleros, exhibidos junto a la fuente de la Plaza España de Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Algunos de estos veleros estaban siendo manejados a control remoto por algunas personas en el lugar. Desconozco si eran los dueños de los mini-veleros o personas que los alquilaron por diversión.
Hasta no hace mucho, esta fuente de agua estaba seca, y al parecer ha sido puesta en funcionamiento de nuevo recientemente. Durante el Carnaval, permaneció seca permitiendo así que las personas caminasen sobre ella. Algo que me pareció curioso y además genial es que estaban exhibidos varios mini-barcos igualespero cada uno tenía el nombre de alguna playa renombrada de la isla de Tenerife: Las Teresitas, Las Gaviotas, Benijo, Almáciga, Antequera e Igueste. Estaban también exhibidos algunos mini-barcos de otros tipos, como deportivoso militares.

On a recent walk through the city, I was pleasantly surprised to come across a small event of mini-boats and mini-sailboats, exhibited next to the fountain in the Plaza España in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
