What LPUD means to most people?

It is an opportunity to win from a stack of prizes.

A typical monthly prize pool looks like this

    Column 1Column 2Column 3
    Incentive50150
    2k from @simplifylife
    3k from @gardian
    5k from @l337m45732

When I think of the prizes instead of the stack of prizes and list of delegators I feel it is more of a Christmas tree decorated and having some nice prizes.

You have to be a good person and lucky to be getting one of the many LPUD goodies.

We can all work towards earning enough for LPUD

Currently where I am I have to earn my leo and hive to have enough tokens to power up on the next LPUD
Either have enough LEO or enough hive to trade them to LEO to power up at the next LPUD.

What if there were no LPUD prizes?

Would you still power up? I do not know what your answer to this question would be. I am more inclined to draw an analogy.
Suppose Inleo is a listed stock. If we look at the social media part of inleo then you can compare it to X, the web 2 microblogging giant.

Currently X.com or twitter is not listed. However it is a very different opportunity. I am on X but I do not have monetization switched on.

With inleo I have the opportunity to earn with every thread that I make. A thread is the equivalent of a tweet in the web 2 world.
With this comparison I would anyday prefer to use inleo.

Another aspect in which I feel inleo is a much better opportunity is the ability to create long form posts to say whatever one feels like.

With my twitter or X account I like all other users have the risk of the account being disabled if the company running the frontend feels that a user has violated its terms of agreement the account can be blocked.
The account can also be blocked or limited if a person makes too many tweets.
Things are a lot more different on inleo. Here a user decides how many times he or she wants to create a thread and what should be the topic of the tweet or post.
There is a feeling of freedom in the air around here.
The only limitation here in terms of how many threads you can make is the resource credits that you have in your account.
The RC’s or resource credits recharge over a span of time. If a user runs out of RC they can always ask for help and the community members are more than willing to help other users.

With such an experience I can say the LPUD is more like celebrating financial freedom and well being.
The more you power up the better it is for the health of your account.
Thus I feel we should all works towards powering up LEO on the next LPUD.
