Hello Hivers,
It's been ages I never had my Wednesday Walk which was started by @tattoo-djay. I woke up early and done my dawn pray (4:15 AM) at the mosque. After the pray, since I already told my hubby that this morning, I'll join him to jog around the neighborhood, I stayed at the mosque till 6 AM recite the Quran with 6 other regular prayers. I went home and hubby was waiting for me to start our jog.
At the first turn I saw the breakfast shop already open, and the vendor displayed the little things which loved by the children (me included) but hubby won't let me stop by. I let him walk in front of me, so I can spend sometimes capturing the atmosphere.
We took a walk in the compound instead of taking the main road. Actually, it's a shortcut to the border of my neighborhood with neighboring complex.
There's a project to control the excess water from the compound's drainage system which cannot accommodated by the river stream. A month ago, there's a big flood which hold the water stagnant around this part of the compound.
the stream that splitting the compound in two sides, along 3 different housing complex (more than 3 KM). it's an old small stream which then changed into a big drainage. This is the main road of our housing Complex, Pamulang Estate and MA.
We walked to the half-end of the stream before we turn back and turn to the left to walk around another village, Mango Village. We seldom took this route because it's a shortcut to the next compound called Villa Inti Persada. Seems like hubby knows why I joined him, so he took me the best route where I can spot interesting objects.
The flower😅 mirabilis jalapa which supposed to be closed already but still blooming🤔too bad, I didn't find the seeds. We continued walking through the narrow streets in the Mango village. My hubby had to wait for me in every turn, because I was distracted so many times.
Women who's having a good time chatting and shopping at the sport's field in MA's neighborhood and an old lady who's sweeping her small yard near the chicken coopThe same spot after and before. This is my favorite's spot. A narrow street where no big car or trucks could pass on it. There's another rather big road at the other side of the village. I have no idea why it called Mango Village, While the bread fruit trees and rambutan are everywhere. Maybe in the past, there were more Mango trees than now.
We keep on walking and reaching the busy provincial road and turn right two times before we reach another neighboring compound. It has a sport center with Swimming Pool, but I came for swimming once and I don't think it safe enough. My hubby got his toes wounded when he taught me to swim there. Maybe because it's an old one and the floor already broken somewhere. The Swimming pool open every day of the week except on Thursday from 6-17.
this route is my common route when I joined hubby to jog around. the distance is about 3 KM, from my house or 30 minutes fun walk.We turn left in front of the Sport center, walk back to the south side of my compound, Pamulang Estate. There's an easy way to differ the compound. not by the gate, but by the street name. All streets in MA compound are named with Flowers, Villa Inti Persada are by Mountains in Indonesia and Pamulang Estate are by Fruits.
By the way, if you saw this yellow flag, it's a sign to be careful when driving because there's someone passed away nearby, not on the street but in one of the houses nearby.
In our neighborhood there are so many stray cats and pet cats, they're playing around, and many people also provide them some cat foods. They have their own territory, I guess.
Even a stray cat knows the needs of sunbathing in the morning, and the only cat which enjoy the moment😀don't worry, it safe. Cars seldom pass the street in the morning. We left the compound to take another route to the neighbor village, the famous Pinang Republic. I named it that, because they have a very busy street with so many food stalls. We pass the outer Pinang Street and walk to Inner Pinang Village. My hubby is a frequent passerby along the street in the village, so he would say hi to many dwellers who sit in front of their house.
He lets me walk behind, and sometimes he'll wait up for me because I was distracted many times. The teak tree garden, the red trailing bauhinia it freshened up my eyes.
We walked for another 30 minutes before we head back to the main street of the compound. I have a Quran Recital meeting at 9 AM, so I need to prepare myself before that.
the main street in our compound which has no fruit trees planted. Because it's too risky for the children who loves playing in the stream to catch the small fish. If the fruit trees growing and ready to harvest, none can imagine what happened if they climb up and then fell down the stream.
This the end of my wednesday walk, December 18th. Thanks for stopping by and see you around😍
