Let There Be A Quora Towershead, And There Was.

PS: The image in my header is a level-5 Quora Towershead. If Splinterlands has 100k players at the moment, only about 500 players if not less might have a level-5 Quora.

So, there's no way I can own this, seeing that I'm nowhere near owning a moderate-deck owner, not to talk of being among the elite to own a level 5 Quora. However, I just got my third copy of Quora, meaning that I need just one card to have a level 2 Quora. There isn't much of a difference between level one Quora and level 2. Except that in level two, you have one extra health which can actually make a difference.

The real deal begins to happen in level 3, where this beast attains the immunity ability. From there, the Quora becomes almost unbeatable. It'll be a dream to own a level 3 at this point because it's taken me about 10 months to own three copies of Quora. This is what you call "scarcity". However, some people get it easier because of luck and the amount of merit they can accumulate.

    Now it gets better.

So I got another epic life card called MARISOL CONTUMA. I reckon that this card is even rarer than a Quora. In actual sense, the Quora and the Marisol are epic cards, but it's even rarer to earn them than earning gladius cards which are "rare" by type and property. Imagine the juxtaposition.

A lot of people don't notice that earning a Marisol is harder and this is because the Quora is by far a more dangerous card with its two types of attack: the heal and the bloodlust. I've played against the Marisol. From a second position, or in an Opportunity Ruleset This guy is one of the most dangerous Gladius cards out there. In level 4 it begins to come alive with the inspire ability, after getting one extra melee attack in level 2.

I've never played against anyone with a level 4 Marisol, and I've played in all tiers of gold level. Maybe you begin to see this in the diamond league, but there's one reason why this card despite being an epic is quite rare. It's scarce, and at level one alone, the Speed and the health it packs are unbelievable.

This is probably one of my richest Gladius cases. Why?

I got two epic cards and one rare, I don't think there is much difference between epic gladius cards and legendary gladius cards. For example, my Legendary Tatiana Blaye is powerful, but in some Ruleset, the Quora can easily blow it away.

My opinion might be flawed because the Tatiana is the Only Legendary Gladius case I have at the moment, but I have played against some of these legendaries and they're not as naturally powerful as regular Legendary cards. In a nutshell, an epic GC can be stronger than a legendary GC. The only difference is that legendaries pack bigger DEC value, especially when you burn them for DEC (Which isn't always advisable)

I got these great additions to my deck in the least productive guild outing ever. I think many players did not turn up for the outing, hence we had only five participants out of 10 or so. I managed 3 wins and 3 losses and sadly we only got 400 merit and 5 SPS. So I completed my merit and bought one Gladius case and opened it. Overall it is a decent addition to my deck. I finally got one BCX of Marisol after 10/11 months.
