Some moments of wandering around the Quran gathering...

What I am going to share with you today is what I saw and enjoyed when I went to the Mahfil in our neighboring village, Badiapara, Mohabbatpur. First, I went to the food fair and various goods fair of the Mahfil. But there were a lot of people there. Due to the crowd, we had a lot of difficulty entering the fair. You can see in the picture this is the way to enter the fair. There are many people coming and going here. There were a lot of people pushing and shoving. I also went inside with a lot of difficulty. I went and saw many different kinds of goods and food items.

First, I went to a fish shop. There was shrimp fry and shrimp chops. You can see that the shrimps are very big. There are also small fish next to them. Chops are made with small fish, which is very delicious to eat. But when we go to a Mahfil or event, if there is such food, we eat it. It is a food I like very much.

Then we went to a Jilipi shop. When we went there, I saw that Jilipi was being made with a lot of fun. I was tempted to see it. But jilipi is made in two ways. One is made with sugar. And the other is made with jaggery. Both are quite tasty to eat, but I like the jilipi made with jaggery better. After eating the jilipi, we left for another shop.

Now we went to a flower shop and after going there, I saw that there were many beautiful flowers there. All the flowers were made of paper. However, the flowers were made very beautifully. There are small and large flowers here. You can see in the picture that a red flower made into a round shape looks very beautiful. Then there are some flowers like tiaras that are put on the heads of the girls, they were also very beautiful. Many of us grow flowers in tubs. Here it is seen that many flowers have been made inside the tub as well. It looks very nice.

After visiting the flower shop, we went to the shop where there are many different kinds of rings, garland sets, pendants, toys and many more things. Here I saw very beautiful rings. I saw many other kinds of red and white rings. Then I saw beautiful pendants put on the ears of the girls. Girls like this kind of pendant a lot.

Then we went to the place where the prayer was being held inside the mahfil. When we went there, we saw many people sitting there listening to the prayer. The place was decorated very beautifully. A cloth made of beautiful flowers was hung on bamboo poles and hung over the head. It looked beautiful.

Then we saw the shrine of Pir Sahib. The shrine was made very big. A very large dome was made on top. It was decorated with music lights on it. Which looks very beautiful. Many types of music lights including red, green, yellow and white have been given.

When I went in front of the shrine, I suddenly met a friend. We met after a long time. It was very nice to meet a friend. We talked a lot. We chatted a lot and ate. We wandered around a lot inside the fair during the mahfil. It was late at night when the mahfil ended. The mahfil was held almost all night. We got tired of wandering around a lot. Then we left for home.
