Food over phone

    Greetings everyone! 🙌

    Just yesterday, I was discussing this topic with a friend, and she boldly told me to my face which one I would choose: abstaining from food for phone for a day, or abstaining from phone for food for a day. She claims to know me very well and how highly addicted I am to my phone. She went on to say I would choose to stay with the phone and do away with food. Shockingly, I surprised her and chose the opposite.

    Yes, I would prefer to keep my stomach happy rather than my eyes or mind, after all, the stomach is the way to a man's heart.
    I am someone who is very much addicted to my phone, although I have spent days without a phone and I have also spent days without food, the one that had a much greater impact (suffering) on my body was that of food.
    Some may ask, "Haven't you been fasting on a regular basis as a religious person?" The truth is that fasting, though it looks simple, is a hard work for my body. I've tried it a lot, and to be sincere, sticking to the phone during those hours didn't give me the kind of joy it normally does when I'm engrossed in it with a full stomach. At times, not even watching movies interested my brain because it lacked food.

    Currently, my stomach is behaving as if it has ulcers with the way it demands food every now and then. There was a time I did a scan on my stomach to see if it had ulcers, but nothing showed up. I've been eating anyhow, and thanks to my body's system that knows nothing like adding weight because I eat anytime the urges come...even at 9 pm or 10 pm, but I try as much as possible not to eat anything after this time. With this, my stomach comes first, even the heavens cannot argue with it.


    What would I do in order not to feel the absence of my phone?

    I would have said I would go and pick up a book to read like others do, but no, I've lost my appetite for reading anything that's not bringing money to me... that's how plain I am and I'm not shy about saying it.
    One of the biggest options for me is to stroll out to a football center and watch a match. Even if there's no match at that time, those highlights are sweet enough to keep my mind entertained.
    In the case where we are not allowed to go to anything screenshot like TV or a laptop, then I would get involved with neighbors in chitchat. It would appear strange to them because they know I'm always with my phone, which makes me not get involved in sitting and talking with them. In fact, the only times they've seen my premium friendliness were those I used to charge my phone and Powerbank at once at a Pay-Charge center... which would leave me without a phone for three to four hours.

    The last option is to eat to stupor and get the full excitement. Food is a giver of joy; it has been like that right from the book of creation. It can make someone forget the troubles of the world.
    After eating, I would sleep, and I know I will add flesh to my skin for the space of one day of eating well and sleeping well without my phone stealing those times from me.
