Barber Shop in Your Heart: Monomad |

Have you ever read the story of Andrei Sergeyevich Arshavin, a Russian soccer player when he played at Arsenal, England. When he had only landed in London for a few months, Arshavin felt that barbers in the British capital were not suitable for cutting his hair.

He felt uncomfortable so he invited his regular barber in Moscow to fly to London. For this reason, Arshavin was willing to pay for round trip Moscow – London flight tickets, hotel, and of course hair shaving services. That's it, right?

Everyone has their own barber, and so does my son. He owns several barber shops. Only two of them are subscribers. He said it was just in case one was closed or the barber he used wasn't working.

I also have a regular barber and rarely change, except occasionally to change the atmosphere and hair style. But because I almost never change my hairstyle, the barber almost never changes it.

Photographing the atmosphere in a barber shop is very fun. The sound of the vise working, the conversation between the barber and the customer, and the sound of the water tap, provide a special atmosphere full of memories.

There are many interesting corners in the barber shop, especially when framed with #monomad which are unique and have a classic impression. I took photos with an iPhone camera and captured several parts that depict a typical atmosphere in a barber shop.[]
