Today I had the opportunity to try kimbap from a new place that was recommended to me, this place is called "Mr. Chow" like the one in the movie What happened yesterday? To put it in context, this restaurant only works with home delivery, that is, it does not have a physical location. However, I can tell you that the service is quite fast and the menu is quite complete with very good prices.
After taking a quick look at the menu I decided on a spicy salmon roll which comes prepared with fresh salmon, spicy mayo sauce (which I love), massago which is capelin fish roe and each kimpab is rolled in nori. The 10 bites cost $27,000 Colombian pesos ($6.37) and the order took about 15-20 minutes to arrive.
The truth is that I really liked the presentation, they come in a small box well organized with their respective chopsticks, soy sauce, mayo sauce and sesame seeds. Although they seemed few and never really enough haha, I can say that they were delicious, I love the touch that gives the mayo sauce and the nori seaweed felt quite fresh so every bite was delicious. Something I liked about the place is that every day they have a 3x2 special on the options you like the most (except for a few) and they have very good prices.
It had been a while since I had tried a good Kimbap and this was certainly amazing, to tell you that my companion liked it too. I definitely recommend this place, remember that they only have delivery service for the moment, hopefully they will open a physical location soon. Hola amigos, feliz fin de semana! Espero que se encuentren muy bien y que su día haya sido increíble. Por mi parte, me encuentro bien gracias a Dios. Les cuento que hoy tuve la oportunidad de probar el kimbap de un nuevo lugar el cual me recomendaron, este lugar es llamado “Mr. Chow” como el de la película ¿Qué pasó ayer? Para ponerlos un poquito en contexto, este restaurante solo trabaja con domicilio, es decir, no cuenta con punto físico. Sin embargo, les digo que la atención es bastante rápida y su menú es bastante completo con precios muy buenos.
Después de echarle una ojeada rápida al menú me decidí por un spicy salmon roll el cual viene preparado con salmón fresco, salsa mayo spicy (que me encanta), massago que vienen siendo huevas de pez capelán y cada kimpab es enrrollado por nori. Los 10 bocados tienen un valor de $27.000 pesos colombianos ($6.37) y el pedido demoró en llevar aproximadamente unos 15-20 minutos.
La verdad es que la presentación me gustó mucho, vienen en una pequeña cajita bien organizados con sus respectivos palillos, salsa de soya, salsa mayo y ajonjolí. Aunque parecían pocos y realmente nunca es suficiente jaja, puedo decir que estaban deliciosos, me encanta el toque que le da la salsa mayo a parte de que la alga nori se sentía bastante fresca por lo que cada bocado era delicioso. Algo que ne gusto del lugar es que todos los días cuenta con un especial de 3x2 en las opciones que más te gusten (A excepción de algunas) y manejan muy buenos precios.
Tenía tiempo que no probaba un buen Kimbap y este sin duda estaba increíble, con decirles que a mi acompañante le quedó gustando también. Sin duda les recomiendo este lugar, recuerden que solo tiene servicio a domicilio por el momento, ojalá abran punto físico pronto. Sin más, espero que hayan tenido un lindo día amigos.
