Manchester United hosted perennial rivals Liverpool at the theatre of dreams. United came from a goal down at half time to be leading (2-1) but a late penalty conceded by United gave Liverpool a lifeline to claw back a goal to earn a point at Old Trafford. It finished (2-2).
In the other matches of the day, Sheffield United played out a (2-2) draw with Chelsea while Tottenham Hotspur cruised past Nothingham Forest (3-1) to solidify their fourth position on the table.

Larry begins his look at today in history from the world of golf. He finds out that on this day in 1963, American professional golfer Jack Nicklaus, who won 73 PGA Tour events during his career and dominated the game from the 1960s to the 1980s, captured the Masters Tournament at the age of 23.
From the world of golf, Larry goes to the world of space exploration. He finds out that on this day in 2001, NASA launched the Mars Odyssey mission, which arrived on Mars in October and transmitted images and data to scientists on Earth.
From the world of space exploration, Larry goes to Rwanda. He finds out that on this day in 1994, Rwandan Prime Minister Agathe Uwilingiyimana, a moderate Hutu, was assassinated by Hutu soldiers, a day after the deaths of Rwandan President Juvénal Habyarimana and Burundi President Cyprien Ntaryamira, as Rwanda descended into anarchy and mass massacres.
From Rwanda, Larry goes to the world of international organizations. He finds out that on this day in 1948, the World Health Organization, a specialized agency of the UN, was formally established.
From the world of international organizations, Larry goes to the world of movies and entertainment. He finds out that on this day in 1954, Jackie Chan, Hong Kong-born Chinese stuntman, actor, and director whose risky acrobatic stunts and appealing physical humour propelled him to Asian action-film stardom and helped introduce kung fu films into the mainstream of American cinema was born in Hong Kong.
Finally, Larry rounds off his look at today in #history from Italy. He finds out that on this day in 1939, Italian dictator Benito Mussolini declared Albania a protectorate of his country and installed Victor Emmanuel III as monarch, while Albanian monarch Zog I fled into exile.
Having seen all these pieces of historical events, Larry zooms off to begin his daily deliveries.
