Today is the first day of the month and it is first June 2024. Every month first day is celebrated as HPUD which is a day when we are supposed to power up more hives and convert them to power. It's a power that we get after the conversion and with this power, we can do a lot including supporting many projects and content creators. I think this is the component that everyone wants to have as much as possible and it is a power so we can't ignore the value of HP in our wallet. Projects look for more delegation for HP because this is the key on this platform so always good to have as much as HP possible and I am also trying to do the same.
I powered up Hive
I participated in this event today and powered up 249 hives which are converted to hive power. It's always good to power up as much as possible. I did my part today and this 249 hive power-up is good to have because now I can see some numbers increase in HP.
Now I have 23400 HP in my wallet. I know that this might not be an amount that can make me feel like a whale but trust me this has taken many years for me to accumulate. Now I am trying to have 25K HP in my wallet as soon as possible and I hope that this will be done in the year 2024.
It is important to participate in such initiatives because these are community initiatives and if we all participate then the impact is going to be big. HP is one of the best ways through which we can earn passive income because curation API is between 8 to 10% and this is a good percentage of returns. In my country banks usually pay between 6% and 7% of interest on the deposits and this way I think the passive income is way better than the deposits with the bank so I can say that hp is certainly the best option to go for. I hope that in the long run this balance of H P will help me a lot to generate passive rewards and by that time I will be able to accumulate more.
I will continue to build HP as much as possible, especially when the price for five is low. I have no plan to power down because the strategy is for the long term and I am dedicated and focused towards achieving this goal on this platform. I have already completed five years on this platform and now after completing five years, I have this much hp which is still less than 25k. I hope that I will be able to make it fifty K someday but I know that it is going to take a lot of time which can be probably the next three or four years.
Once again I would say that HP accumulation is very important on this platform because later on when the price will be grown then it will not be possible for us to build an hp stake. I'm trying and in fact, I have been trying since the beginning to have some decent balance of power in my account so that I can support some projects and content creators while generating some passive reward for me.
