Besides lying in the grassy field and gazing at the vast blue sky, sitting under a tree holds a special place in my heart, evoking cherished childhood memories as summer approaches. Feeling the gentle breeze, observing birds chirping on branches, and basking in the warmth of the sun all ignite my imagination as a curious child exploring this beautiful world. These memories often beckon me to revisit those pure and irreplaceable moments.
Today, I return with my free-style collage that breathe life into those memories once more. This time, I'm sharing a collage with a minimalist touch, keeping it simple and focusing mainly on placement and color.
Upon completing this artwork, curiosity gets the best of me. I wonder how it would look if I rearranged the swimming fishes in different directions. So, I decided to experiment by placing the fishes in different positions. After arranging them horizontally, I tried a vertical arrangement as seen in the picture below.
Of course, placement plays a significant role in every collage creation. When objects are positioned differently, their meanings also shift.
