My Actifit Report Card: February 14 2024

Hello everyone 👋,

Happy hump day 😎🎉happy valentine's day😻 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's been another wonderful and active day: time has really flown and as it draws to a close, am raring to go with my stepping activities for the day and some of the trending stories. As always thank you for reading and let's get going 💨.
So as usual I had two main walking sessions. First was the fast paced morning session, brisk walking and jogging around the neighbourhood🌲. It was a warm sunny 🌞 morning as I made my way. After the morning walk I had some household chores then later in the afternoon a little bit of walking at the park. It was still sunny 🌞 and beautiful.
I squeezed in my usual afternoon nap and then later in the evening I had the usual sunset walk sunset 🌇, slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze🍃 .
So what's been trending in the media streets? Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going.
Globally, Gaza trending as airstrikes went on in Rafa, a dreaded ground offensive would be disastrous😿.
Meanwhile, aid into Gaza has been halted, it's been a week since fuel and food supplies entered🙀. Egyptian officials at the border are blaming Israeli procedural rules.
Speaking of Egypt, Turkish president Erdogan was visiting for the first time in 12 years, mending fences. Both he and Egyptian president have called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Also trending, Israel intensified Lebanon raids after deadly Hezbollah attack that killed Israeli soldier🙀. Four civilians were killed in the strikes😭.
Not far off, Indonesia vote counting is underway with former defence minister leading and will probably be the next president.
Trending in Europe, Estonia and fellow NATO members Latvia and Lithuania have pulled down Soviet era monuments🙀. Russia has reacted by putting Estonian president and other senior officials on a wanted list, terming what they did a crime😹.
Ukraine trending as it claims sinking of Russian ship off Crimea🙀.
Across the pond in the US, one person has died and nine have been injured in a shooting in Kansas city, near a super bowl victory parade😭. Remember Kansas chiefs won the super bowl on Sunday night and thousands had gathered for celebration parade when shots were fired. Fortunately two armed people have been taken into custody💯.
