When we talk about life, we usually talk about the smooth sail and the simple ways that would eventually lead us to where we are going to. This is something I’ve observed from people, especially those who are into the making it quick and hitting it big someday. Although some might get lucky and get things the easy way, but for billions of others out there, it’s never going to be a smooth sail or a simple tic tak game.

Life is going to hit you hard.

This is where many are caught between two cross roads - to punch back or to accept defeat.

We all know that one choice is greater than the other, because one road leads to the top while the other road only keeps you down and eventually push you down into oblivion.

Apparently, many young adults out there have given up on the road rarely walked, which is the road to the top. The road to the top is about fighting against gravity itself that weighs and keep us down.

This is inevitable because, for one reason, gravity affects everyone.

Either you’re living in Europe or in Africa, you will have to fight against the gravity of life. The only difference, however, is that some are supported by their nation state, neighborhood, and community to make the load lighter.

The gravity of life can be a problem we are being faced with in any form, be it a nation wide one or a personal one like a common cold. No matter what we do and how we do it, we’ll always be pushed down by gravity, which is why we’ve got to keep our fuel and fire burning and not seeing any resistance as a reason to give up.

Many have given up on life, it’s clear with how suicide cases are now on the rise more than ever. Same with drug addicts who have given up on life to turn to a life of drugs that’s merely a time bomb that’s built to kill them slowly.

However, as a community and a human we’ve got the power to make things more lighter for our fellow humans, even if some people do not approve of it.

Presently, not everyone approves of crypto. Even though it’s elevating people from rags to riches, and slowly eradicating poverty in many Third World countries.

Yet, some set of people will always want to act like gravity and pull people down.

For example the governments, sec and even CEX

I have been talking about Binance for some days now and also how the government has been finding ways to curb cryptocurrency activities in the country.

These gravity-like fellas even went as far to make the Binance disable its p2p due to too much pressure and controversial claims like Binance being the point of entry for illicit funds. This has made many people feel like their world is about to end or come to a halt due to how much they rely on the platform (and crypto in general) with not many alternatives around that can function like Binance.

However life is about finding alternatives, not just anyone, but rather a better one.

If you think your jurisdictions isn’t working towards making the weight lighter, it’s best to make your leave.

This is the type of talk that has been going around among crypto enthusiast since the drama began. But what I believe is that while life is not a bed of roses, we can try to make it look like it’s the best life we are ever going to live by punching back and finding another way. And adapt fast with it.

Presently, many are now using Bybit. I now do too. But…

This got me thinking about DEX. Yet, I think many of us here in Africa are still blindfolded that we don’t even know which option is better for us than the other. Personally, I would like to japa as they usually say, but I can’t do that for financial reasons, so instead of that I would rather keep cross trading across chains until all this shit clears up or until we can get NGN to be paired on platforms like Thorchain someday.
