Muy buenos días para todos. Espero que estén pasando una excelente semana, en paz espiritual y que les sirva para reconfortar y fortalecer el ánimo.
Hoy voy a compartir con ustedes, estimados y respetados lectores, algunos agradecimientos y reconocimiento, porque todos formamos parte importante de una labor que nos identifica, que nos fortalece y que nos hace que seamos más tolerantes, comprensivos y comprometidos...la atención de los niños con autismo.
Los padres.
Son la principal fuente de información, conocimiento y experiencia que podemos tener para poder brindar la atención con propiedad a un niño. Los padres son fuente de sabiduría y amor incondicional.
Siempre he pensado que nunca terminamos de aprender de ellos y del sentido cooperativo que tanto favorece a la práctica psicopedagógica. He conocido padres que han sido ejemplo, no sólo a nivel profesional; sino a nivel personal.
A todos los padres con quienes he tenido la oportunidad de trabajar, les agradezco infinitamente.
Los docentes.
Siempre hay grandes esfuerzos detrás de cada acción. Ellos tienen una gran responsabilidad en su día a día. La gran mayoría, ¡qué bueno!, asumen su responsabilidad en forma impecable…los he conocido y aún trabajo a diario en su compañía, cuando colaboro en las escuelas públicas.
A todos los docentes con quienes he tenido la oportunidad de trabajar… ¡gracias!. Son grandes los aprendizajes a nivel de vida y de la acción pedagógica.
Los familiares y las personas de confianza.
La familia es una fuente permanente de apoyo. Las dinámicas familiares esconden grandes retos y satisfacciones. He trabajado de la mano con tíos, amigos de la familia, abuelos, sobrinos, hermanos y primos.
Cuando los padres no tienen la posibilidad de llevar a diario a los niños a sus consultas, pues dependen de la fuente de ingresos que le proporciona su trabajo y tienen que hacer grandes arreglos para asistir a reuniones, talleres y encuentros, los familiares y personas de confianza realizar un acompañamiento que es meritorio de agradecimiento.
A esos familiares y amigos, su apoyo es invalorable, sin ustedes muchos niños no podrían asistir a sus terapias y consultas.
Especialistas.
El progreso del bienestar del niño no solo depende de uno o de unas personas. Todos los especialistas que intervienen, dando su apoyo profesional, experiencia y su consejo a los padres y familiares, son importantes en el proceso. Bien sabemos que el abordaje integral de los niños con autismo (y cualquier trastorno del desarrollo), es fundamental para asegurar un buen pronóstico.
A ellos, pediatras, psicólogos, psiquiatras, nutricionistas, neuropediatras, psicopedagogos, terapeutas de lenguaje, terapeutas ocupacionales, foniatras, fisiatras, audiólogos y otros profesionales, les debemos los aportes que desde cada disciplina aportan.
Organizaciones sociales.
Siempre he tratado de mirar el lado positivo de todo en lo que podemos apoyarnos y que nos puede sumar ventajas. Trabajé muchos años en el Ministerio de Educación tratando siempre de aportar y conocí a personas maravillosas, comprometidas y con sentido de pertenencia.
Así mismo tuve la oportunidad de colaborar con los tribunales de protección, fundaciones y asociaciones de padres. Es común que el grueso de la población tenga la opinión de que estas instituciones están plagadas de burocracia; sin embargo, también he tenido la oportunidad de trabajar con funcionarios que están muy conscientes de la importancia que su trabajo representa para la familia y para beneficiar a la sociedad.
En todas estas personas me he quedado, con su forma de involucrarse sin que ello dependa de factores adversos, excusas o falta de interés.
¿Has tenido la oportunidad de trabajar con personas excelentes que se diferencian de la mayoría para ejercer su trabajo con esmero, paciencia y dedicación, no importan las circunstancias?

Teachers.
There are always great efforts behind every action. They have a great responsibility in their day-to-day lives. The vast majority, of course, assume their responsibility impeccably... I have met them and I still work daily in their company, when I collaborate in the public schools.

Family members and people you trust.
Family is a permanent source of support. Family dynamics hide great challenges and satisfactions. I have worked hand in hand with aunts, uncles, family friends, grandparents, nieces, nephews, siblings and cousins.
When parents are unable to take their children to their appointments on a daily basis, as they rely on the source of income provided by their work and have to make large arrangements to attend meetings, workshops and gatherings, family members and trusted people are able to attend meetings, workshops and gatherings.
A those family and friends, your support is invaluable, without you many children would not be able to attend their therapies and consultas.

Specialists.
The progress of a child's well-being does not depend only on one or a few people.
All the specialists involved, giving their professional support, experience and advice to parents and relatives, are important in the process. We are well aware that a comprehensive approach to children with autism (and any developmental disorder) is essential to ensure a good prognosis.

Social organizations.
I've always tried to look at the positive side of everything that we can rely on and that can add up to our advantages. I worked for many years in the Ministry of Education always trying to contribute and I met wonderful people, committed and with a sense of belonging.
I also had the opportunity to collaborate with the protection courts, foundations and parents' associations. It is common for the bulk of the population to have the opinion that these institutions are riddled with bureaucracy; However, I have also had the opportunity to work with officials who are well aware of the importance of their work to the family and to the benefit of society.
En all these people I have stayed, with their way of getting involved without it depending on adverse factors, excuses or lack of interés.
