Time flies! Just completed the 178th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
- Fun In The Discord Chats
Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
- Moving Back To Bronze Fray
For this brawl, I made the decision to move back to a Bronze level fray, which is where my cards are at. It proved to a good decision but I was back to winning form!
Had 5 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.
- We Got 3rd!!!
So for the final result, we were 3rd out of 10 guilds and got 431 Merits and around 17 SPS! A whole bag of SPS! A decent finish this round! Ending the year on a high!
Individually, I had 5 fights this time and I won 4 of them this time! Finished 3rd within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 4 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Sola Ranjell
One of the strong combinations that I mentioned in my 2024 post earlier! Iziar partners with a healer, in this case, Sola Ranjell, which is a Legendary Gladius card. There was no way my opponent could overcome the healing of 4 HP per turn for a 21 mana battle. Easy win here.

Battle 2 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: None
Despite fielding a strong lineup for this one, it still went down to the team that had Quora Towershead. How "unfair" is that. I guess I just have to keep grinding until I get one copy. It has been 178 brawls and 69 Gladius cases already. :(

Battle 3 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver and Larissa Kerato
What an amazing win here! My team's damage output was very strong, coupled with high speed (which meant I went first) and Blast, my opponent didn't stand a chance here.

Battle 4 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Flagulon Reine
What a bizarre battle! My opponent had that interesting card called Shock Trooper, which dealt 4 Magic damage but hit all allied cards with 1 damage each round. In the end, the rounds went on and the opposing team just all went down on their own. Hahaha. Note to self - never field this card.

Battle 5 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Flagulon Reine
Lol what just happened to my opponent over here? 1 card? Will take this "free" win in that case. :)
MVP: None (almost like a free win)
So that sums up my 5 battles for this brawl! 80% win rate this time round! Just lost to the one with Quora Towershead. Hope to do better in the next brawl!

The Merits are coming in fast and I have enough Merits for my 69th Gladius case! Nothing to see here, just the minimum set of the cards. Still no Quora Towershead. Oh well.
