Overdrive

Just finished my latest artwork called "Overdrive". I started this artwork more than a year ago. There were some other projects in between so the progress of this artwork was on and off.

I always liked an earlier artwork I did in 2017 called "Facing Distraction" and was looking to create something that was a litle bit inspired by it. So I made a head and started creating.

I started with the linework and slowly added shading. When most of it was ready I started to make color decisions. While improving colors I kept improving the lines and shades. Because of the high details it was easy to miss parts that weren't finished yet. So I had to keep checking. Even when I started doing test prints I had to fix some details.

This artwork is created with Procreate. It took me more than 100 hours to complete it.
