When this sculpture was conceived back in 1880 it was thought to have a size of 70cm, it was titled as the thinker looking to represent Dante, the author of the Divine Comedy alluding to the moment where he leans to observe the circles of hell while meditating on his work. The sculpture was created by Auguste Rodin, being one of the most famous sculptures he has created. It was conceived to decorate the tympanum of the sculptural ensemble THE GATE OF HELL, another work that would be accompanied by this piece and would serve to decorate the entrance of what would become the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris.

The truth is that this sculpture has always caught my attention, a man with a great physical capacity sitting thinking before acting. Maybe a battle is coming, but before acting he thinks about his possibilities showing the importance of using his head. It took me about 3hs 20min to print and about 45 grams of plastic, I achieved an excellent result, although I had to use a little more material to generate an edge on the supports to generate more support base and that these do not detach from the printing base, I always prefer to spend a little more material to ensure a firm base and not have to be regretting later.
