The Earth keeps spinning

It is crazy how fast time has been going lately. Our grandson is already over six weeks old. It is crazy how fast babies grow at this stage. It is like he is a new baby every day and has learned something new.

I am grateful that I am able to take him on walks every morning. I think I started taking him on the morning walks when he was just a few days old and I have taken him on one each morning so that his mommy can get a bit more sleep. My wife and I have said that you need at least three people to help raise a newborn.

On one of our walks, it looked like a hot air balloon crashed down in my neighborhood. Im not sure how far away it was from us, but it looked pretty close. I didn't hear anything about a hot air balloon crashing down, so I am assuming it didnt come down in all the homes. Either way, it was pretty cool to see on our walk.

All of our animals love him so much too. They always try and be close to anything that has his smell on it. At first, they were pretty hesitant to get close to him but they have gotten more comfortable and seem to really love him.

Dusty is our daughter's cat, so he is basically Theo's big brother. Dusty is always on something of his. Sometimes when Theo is getting his diaper changed, Dusty lays next to him and rubs up against him and it helps to keep him calm during diaper changes.

We had my wife's parents and sister over for dinner last weekend and they got to meet Theo for the first time. It was pretty cool for him to meet his great grandmother. My mother in law's health isnt the greatest, so I am glad that they got to meet and I was able to get some pictures of them together.

We are glad that our son has been coming over a lot more as well. We used to not see him much because he has been extremely busy with building his business. It is so cool seeing our son fall in love with his nephew.

I dont know how active I am going to be with Hive moving forward. This little guy is taking up all of my time and he is really helping to put life into perspective for all of us. He has been such a blessing for our family. Being able to see him each day has been a treasure and I won't ever forget this amazing experience.
