Let's have an interesting summary of how my Sunday went......
My friends woke me up around 4:30am to take my bath and prepare for church. I stayed over at a friend's place and we were 3 in the room so we had to take turn to bath. We woke up that early because the 3 of us are workers in the church: workers are expected to be in church by 6:30am. We were ready by 5:30am, walked down to the main road to wait for the church bus that comes to pick the church workers. By 6am we were on our way to church already.
We got to church, the musicians did sound check then the vocalists too, we also did sound check for every other thing that needed sound check like the loop and the drummer's in-ear monitor. We had the usual short word of exaltation and prayer session for workers, then we had few minute rest before service began. The service started exactly 8am and it was an awesome time in God's presence.

The sermon was (I'd be paraphrasing) Knowing God As Your Father the man of God explained how God who is our Father cares for us, He made us and has plans for each and everyone of us. He doesn't need to rack His head to think of what next to do with you and I, He has it all planned. He explained further that we can know God more as our Father by studying, meditating and confessing the Word of God. I played the bass guitar for praise which was an Ariaria beat (very popular in the Eastern part of Nigeria among the Igbo tribe). I also played for choir rendation and it went well but not as good as we planned.
After service, the whole choir (Crystal Sound) had a meeting then the musicians had their seperate meeting where we discussed how well we performed our duty during the service. We pointed out mistakes and made corrections for next time. I got some harsh corections too from my boss and I am glad I got those corrections because it would be hard to correct them if I get used to them.
I had to stay in church till past 2pm in the afternoon because I had issues with Whatsapp. I was off the green app for about 4 days and it was not funny at all, got frustrated each time I tried connecting my number back to it ( I just got back on whatsapp this evening ).

I got home very tired and hungry, I ate just> burgers and I slept off immediately. Woke up after 3 hours of sleep and I called a friend to ask what we were going to have for dinner. We planned and I got the pepper, tomatoes and fish and cooked spag. Don't worry, the food was delicious, I am a very good chef. We enjoyed the spag and sauce but we couldn't get chilled drink because it was too late, the shops were closed by the time I finished cooking.
I Achieved these:
The correction I got from my boss was a thing of joy to me. I have been big on improving on the bass guitar for a while now.
The sermon made me more confident that God has my best interest at heart, he cares about me.
The whatsapp issue got so heavy on my mind that I worry so much about every contact I'd lost, I had close to zero energy to do other things. It taught me that every present challenges is not meant to stay, it will pass on if you stay strong.
