Every day brings a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy the company of our beloved Pupy, a beautiful white Labrador who has become the center of our home and who has been discussed in other posts.
My husband and I share a deep affection for him, and his antics fill our days with joy and tenderness. Although Pupy doesn't like being on a leash, his intelligence and obedience are admirable; he never crosses a street without waiting for the command, and he always follows our directions with a naturalness that surprises everyone.

Today was one of those days when we ventured together to a nearby field, just five blocks from our house. This place is paradise for Pupy, where he can run freely and play as he pleases. Among the trees that adorn the space, a mango tree stands out and plays a special role during our visits. The neighborhood children often knock down mangoes out of season, and Pupy, excited, mistakes them for balls. My husband never misses an opportunity to take advantage of this moment, throwing mangoes to him one after another, while Pupy runs excitedly to find them and bring them back. The game seems like an endless cycle that entertains us all. Pupy is tireless.
Hoy fue uno de esos días en que nos aventuramos juntos a un terreno cercano, a solo cinco cuadras de nuestra casa. This is also true of any stick we find along the way. For Pupy, every object is a perfect excuse to run, explore, and release his boundless energy. My husband and I greatly enjoy these moments, not only because we see Pupy happy, but because we know we are contributing to his development, allowing him to exercise and explore his environment. This time in the afternoons when we share this experience together also allows us to relax from the workday, and sharing these moments together at the end of the day is very rewarding.
Es algo que también ocurre con cualquier palo que encontramos en el camino. Para Pupy, todo objeto es una excusa perfecta para correr, explorar y liberar esa energía inagotable que lo caracteriza. Mi esposo y yo disfrutamos mucho estos momentos, no solo porque vemos a Pupy feliz, sino porque sabemos que estamos contribuyendo a su desarrollo, permitiéndole ejercitarse y explorar su entorno, ademas ese momento en las tardes donde compartimos esta experiencia juntos tambien nos sirve para relajarnos del dia de trabajo y compartir compartir juntos estos momentos al final del dia es muy gratificante.
For us, the daily walk with Pupy is not just a routine activity; it is a priceless moment. The day was sunny, but the temperature was pleasant, so it was perfect for this walk. I used to do it with my son, whom I miss a lot after his trip. But my husband does everything possible to make the moment magical, so that neither Pupy nor I feel his absence.
Pupy has a very friendly nature and is always ready to play. He makes us see the beauty of simple things and the importance of enjoying time with those we love. On every walk, we accompany and care for each other. He inspires us, unites us, and makes us feel happy to have him every day. Plus, he always catches the attention of everyone we pass by with his friendly and playful attitude; he makes people stop and notice him.
Para nosotros, el paseo diario con Pupy no es solo una actividad rutinaria; es un momento invaluable.
