Yikes! It's been four months since my last makeup/ hair post, so it's no wonder I was starting to feel a bit like a bed troll. I work from home and if I do have to leave the house, for any reason, even if it's to the farm, I go in some kind of pajama ensemble. You know, whatever is comfortable and works with the brace.
It does mean, that I revel in the chance to pay a little attention to myself and enjoy my makeup and hair routine, which I've actually got quite good and efficient at! I've stopped (well not completely but I'm better at it) poking myself in the eye with my mascara and liquid eyeliner, and that eyeshadow is looking smashing, if I may say so myself. I love playing around with the colours, depending on what I'm wearing, and I find it fascinating that different colours make my eyes look different. Some people will swear my eyes are blue, some will swear they're grey and some will swear they're green. Actually, they're none of the above! My eyes have two distinct colours: Brown and blue and depending on what I'm wearing it can make them change colour. It also depends on my mood! Almost like a mood ring!
As for my hair, I'm getting good at covering up those roots and blending in, using time and patience AND the right product as my weapons of choice. I curled it for the Barleycorn but I didn't have time to dye it.
For the cottage club, some money came through before hand (Thanks babe @zakludick) and I was able to dye my hair!
The Garnier Nutrisse I choose is the ultimate blond and comes with a special toning conditioner. It is ow the only blonde I use. It normally takes about a week for the colour to settle, but I was short on time. I had to try to get right

The result? Surprisingly awesome.
The last time I did my hair, I put inn a very strong red undertone, and that was not possible to eliminate completely, but because I only dye the bottom part of my hair the wild colour, I can get away with it. Besides, my plan is, as soon as I have some more bucks, to go shocking/ electric/cerise pink at the base. I think it will look awesome <3
Although there is nothing that compares to the professionalism of Dash of Beauty and Adelia Engelke, my official hair professional, when money is tight, it's good to know I've got skills!
I will definitely need to visit her soon for some toning and a cut/ some layering. I'm looking forward to taking Aime with me for her won haircut. Her hair is almost down to her bum!
I will also need to go to sleep with conditioner in my hair every night for a while, but at least I got the job done!
