FungiFriday Challenge : Mushroom Hunting in Krueng Inoeng Village, North Aceh Regency.

Mushroom greetings to my friends throughout the universe. As my contribution today there are some mushrooms for the FungiFriday Challenge by @ewkaw. I'm having trouble getting plants this month. But I continued to struggle with the long and tiring journey.

This afternoon I found two dried mushroom plants. I am very sad to see this mushroom looking dull and dirty. The journey I took was also long. But I had to walk through every small forest. I found this mushroom in North Aceh Regency, Krueng Inoeng Village, Kutamakmur District. The distance I traveled was around 5-6 KM to this location. I use a motorbike to reach my destination. I got this mushroom at around 18:30 WIB on March 22 2024. It feels like time has passed so quickly, but there is something interesting and fun about hunting. So I continue to hunt to be able to continue sharing and learning.

I also brought a smartphone and macro lens to photograph the mushroom plants so they didn't look dull and dirty. Mushrooms that grow on burned cottonwood tree trunks. And there are also fungi that grow on the roots of cotton trees (bondu trees).
Mushrooms with a white color that is no longer bright are most likely [Tyromyces] fungi (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyromyces). The fungus [Tyromyces] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyromyces) is a species of fungus from the genus Tyromyces P.Karst. (1881) from members of the Polyporaceae family. This fungus is a genus of poroid, and Tyromyces chioneus is widely distributed.

Then the fungus Pycnoporus sanguineus. This mushroom is a member of the Polyporaceae family with the genus Pycnoporus. The color of the mushroom that I saw was orange. Even though the condition is dull, the orange color is more dominant. Pycnoporus sanguineus is a white rot saprobic fungus.
