dannewton just finished a 5.04km run, that lasted for 31 minutes.
This run helped dannewton burn 378.0 calories.
Description from Strava: Really pretty stiff after yesterdays run... in hindsight running one of my fastest 5kms of recent times in the middle of a 18 mile run may not have been the best idea!
I had tried to be sensible yesterday, but when the event starts and 300 other people start running as fast as they can, i couldnt help but join them!
After a lazy morning, i decided i needed to get outside and just get my legs moving. I aimed for 30 minutes along the bypass and back. And sure enough, after 10 mins or so I started moving a little better, and was running more comfortably by the end of it.
I did have a stength & conditioning session planned afterwards, but decided that was a step too far lol.
I'm gonna quickly rustle up some lunch, and then i will heading out to the shops to pick up supplies before the thunderstorms hit later. The walk will also be good for active recovery, so that i am ready to start a new week of training tomorrow as fresh and ready as i can.

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)
